About This Site
The Simple Christmas site is a gift to you from First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, Missouri.
Several years ago, our church was involved in an emphasis of Simple Christmas. Sermons and activities related to the theme. Leadership and congregation alike tried to find ways to do more than pay lip service to the idea.
Then someone thought, "Why not a website?" so the theme could be shared with others - a place to find resources and tools year-round. As it turned out, no one had this domain. Senior Pastor Doyle Sager suggested much of the content of the site, along with leadership and other church members.
In 2011, the site was redesigned. New to the site are additional ideas, content, links and a form for your submissions.
Christmas should be a joyous season! For Christians, we know that Jesus truly is the reason for the season. For those that do not know Him, this season represents a time of sharing, caring and the best of what we can offer one another.
